Founded in 2017, Aspera Development has grown from a small financial underwriting consulting firm into a full service development and management business.  Certified by the Veterans affairs department as a service disabled Veteran Owned Small business, Aspera Development is in predevelopment for medical facilities in addition to its multi-family portfolio.  

​Apsera development has consulted on commercial real estate acquisitions valued in excess of $50 million and conducted due diligence and underwriting for sales in excess of $75 million in commercial properties.

Aspera development has managed both commercial and residential properties.  aspera managed 4 fully leased commercial properties totaling 146,169 SF. The properties include multiple retail centers and aviation hangers at North Perry airport in Pembroke Pines, Florida.  Aspera development owns and self manages a multi-family portfolio.  

Aspera has Provided consulting services to numerous firms for acquisition research analysis, financial underwriting, and securing capital.

chad maxey has developed numerous commercial real estate projects valued in exess of $1 Billion, financed over $500 million in capital, and executed $75+ MILLION in sales transactions.  He has a MBA and Masters in Real Estate development from Nova Southeastern University and currently sits on the Broward County Planning Council & Ft Lauderdale Board of Adjustment.  

As a Real estate developer, chad has expertise in entitlements, financial underwriting, securing capital, bid process, management, and government proposals.  he has Experience with all major real estate asset classes including non-traditional types - retail, multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, self storage, cell tower, aviation, high speed rail, and parking garages.  

prior to involvement in real estate, Chad served as an Army infantry Major with a decade of service and over 2 and a half years deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a 2004 graduate of West Point with Airborne and Ranger qualifications and served in all leadership positions at the tactical level to include company command in Iraq and operations officer for an Army Ranger Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) regional task force in Afghanistan.

After receiving a Masters in legislative affairs from George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management, Chad was selected as a defense fellow for Congressman C.W. Bill Young of Saint Petersburg, Florida, then Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee for Defense and Veterans Affairs. He then returned to the Pentagon to serve as the legislative adviser to General Ray Odierno, the Army Chief of Staff.

​Chad lives in Fort lauderdale and works on veterans initiatives, millienial leadership development programs, and recruits local young men and women for West Point.
